Molecular pathogenesis of the myeloproliferative disorders

 

 

 

Would suit an individual wanting to pursue a PhD in a world-class university with a view to a subsequent career in academic haematology.  Successful applicant would be based in the Cambridge Institute for Medical Research and have access to cutting edge facilities.

 

2 - 3 years experience of clinical haematology and first part of MRCPath (or equivalent) usually required.

Would suit an individual wanting to consolidate their research training in a world-class university with a view to pursuing a career in academic haematology.  Particular strengths exist in myeloid malignancies, stem cells, thrombosis and transfusion medicine.  It will also be possible to complete specialist clinical haematology training.

 

PhD or equivalent is required, as is 2-3 years experience of clinical haematology with first part of MRCPath (or equivalent).

 

Funding available for 5 years.
